So far notorious for stealing the Danish Crugicer and briefly sacking the Hague Museum of its Royal Crown jewels, I present the infamous Nanatsu no drivers Drivers 7) of Japan!

Having its origins in humble and respectable but ‘boring’ jobs, one by one, they descend into petty theft. Led by one man and pursued by another, these career thieves seek grand larceny to fuel their Ultimate Thrill… the great race!

    7.      匙　蝶  Cho Saji-  ‘She who assimilates.’

Despite her spunky appearance, Cho-san is patient, organized, and slow to act.
Very self-confident and hard to study, her smile often masks something else… She has a great memory, vibrant curiosity and analytical intelligence. This means she analyzes cases in minute detail, but she sometimes misses the big picture. It’s always the superficial but needful Matsubara who brings her back to the right perspective. Ms. Saji is secretive about romantic things and feelings.

Shunsen-san is an impulsive man with a passive –aggressive behavior dialed up to a 9.

He is an introvert, albeit a highly passive-aggressive one. He’s easily swayed and clearly lacks self-confidence. And is highly emotive, flying off the handle often. Matsubara-san takes refuge in unproblematic relationships, however trivial they are. He once neglected a jewel heist to chat with a homeless man he gave a gold coin to- … just because the man liked his tie! Mentally, Shunsen lacks an analytical mind, but he is superficially intelligent. This means Shunsen oversees a case in a quick glimpse but overlooks the details, much to Saji-san’s annoyance.

     5.          鉄         間愛美    　         Kurogane Naoko-  ‘Honest child.’

Occupation: Lab tech  car color: dark crimson  make: Maserati GTS  Myers-Briggs: INTJ “Scientist.”

Not much is known about her at present. We know only that:

i. Naoko-san has an older brother in prison; the event left her with unfulfilled emotional needs.

ii. Another relative’s disapproval with her computer engineering obsession makes her secretive with her interests.

iii. Despite her current criminal background, seeing someone treated considerably by a police officer left her with a sense of respect for the upstanding members of law enforcement. This respect sometimes causes her to compromise 'missions' that the drivers seven must complete to fund their living expenses, as well as their passion for driving.

4.  村　敏弘  Toshihiro Mura-  ‘He who trains, who commands.’

Toshihiro “Hiro” Mura is the de facto leader of the criminal group Drivers 7. While never actually proclaiming himself this- when in a pivotal situation, the other members (even Marco) watch what he does next, following his lead implicitly. His generous nature and humble personality wins many over, making even his enemies be at peace with him. He respects life in its many forms and when possible takes great care to risk no element of civilian danger or loss of life, especially innocents, and decent members of law enforcement.

Statuesque and vocal, Natsumi is not easily swayed. Stemming from a humiliating prank that a parental figure played on her as a child, she’s quite guarded in her expressiveness.  She’s independent and provokes lively reactions, both passionate and critical. Her analytical and curious mind which lets her visualize cases globally. She’s highly curious, often on the verge of indiscretion.

The son of foreign diplomats, as a child Tatsu has few friends because of his family’s frequent moves. Tatsu is a phlegmatic type who enjoys life and is happy to pass the time when not on the clock. His day job of six years as a bank teller affords him little flexibility for his gregarious personality to shine through. As a result he’s a thrill seeker who chooses the racing life as an outlet for his creative expression.

So far this is what’s known of Taka:

The most abrasive of the bunch, Taka was fascinated with a tragic prankster growing up. A cruel prank that she played on a family friend drove a wedge between them. She has a fascination with a popular chef growing up too. She’s an avid racer with a habit of cutting sharp corners to win which throws off her peers. She also does not play nicely with her teammates. She works as a customer service agent by day, where her bristly dealings anger her superiors. However she gets excellent results and as such no one will fire her.
